Aenigma aeroplani perditi. The mystery of the missing plane.

Abhinc quindecim dies aeroplanus Malayasianus in medio itinere decessit.

wreckage in sea

Fifteen days ago a Malaysian aeroplane disappeared in mid-flight. The chief pilot himself, it is claimed, hijacked his plane but no one can say why or how. In the plane there were several automatic tracking devices which, after the first hour of the flight, the pilots did not use. The devices were able to work, but they were shut down. The plane diverted from its planned route. No traces have been found, no one knows where the plane is, but almost no one thinks the crew and passengers are still alive. Planes and ships are scouring the Southern Ocean, looking for wreckage, but without success. It is almost certain that all the travellers have perished, but the bodies have been lost forever.
